Inspiration for the design of the home came from the simplicity of Scandinavian architecture and how it relates to nature itself. Instead of mimicking the typical log cabin style you see in Northern Wisconsin, we looked to the minimalism of modern Scandinavian homes and how they seamlessly integrate with the surrounding environment using the integration of wood and natural materials, natural light, clean lines and neutral colors. The result is a classic two-level timber frame design that equally shines as a unique modern structure yet complements the natural beauty of the Wisconsin Northwoods.
