A gut renovation and addition to this Chicago Landmark District residence balances classic elements reminiscent of the home’s historic architectural period with a contemporary feel. A front arched window allows natural light into a formal sitting room decorated with traditional wall and ceiling mouldings while the kitchen and bathrooms feature more simple and modern elements by contrast.
